Dr. Eileen Kennedy gives an invited talk

Dr. Eileen Kennedy, an associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, recently gave an invited presentation at the 25th American Peptide Symposium in Whistler, British Columbia, titled “Targeting kinases with constrained peptide scaffolds.”

She also served as a co-chair of the Student Affairs Committee for the APS symposium and published an article entitled “Suppression of breast cancer metastasis using stapled peptides targeting the WASF regulatory complex” in the journal Cancer Growth and Metastasis. Dr. Kennedy has also had two grants recently funded.
