Undergraduate Program

We appreciate your interest in the Bachelors of Science (B.S.) program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, offered by the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy. Our inaugural class of B.S. students will begin in Fall 2013.

Like our department, the B.S. program is an interdisciplinary program representing all facets of the drug discovery and drug development processes. We encourage you to spend some time reviewing our website and learning more about our department, faculty and research areas. The next step is to formally apply to the program. Please note that we will NOT evaluate your application unless your application is complete. The University of Georgia has an online application process that can be accessed here.

The B.S. Program requires successful completion of a specific 60 credit hours. A list of these courses can be found here. Please note that applicants to the program must have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must complete all of the CHEM, BIOL, PHYS, ENGL and MATH courses with a grade of C or better.

A list of the upper division courses required for completion of the degree is show here and a typical program of study for students in the program is shown here.

For more information about the B.S. program, please do not hesitate to contact us.
